Bespoke wire rope assemblies produced to client specifications in large or small volumes at realistic costs.Scarlet Oak Engineering specialise in producing wire rope assemblies, our extensive knowledge of the various wire rope constructions, their qualities and operational viability enables us to offer fast turn around design, prototyping and test services. Highly developed quality production and test methods ensure that all wire rope assemblies exactly fulfil customer requirements and satisfy stringent safety validation criteria. Within our flexible production facilities we maintain both large and small batch run wire rope assembly equipment. Current manufacturing plant and machinery allow for bulk cutting, swaging, crimping and mechanical splicing methods of fabrication producing wire rope assemblies of up to 26mm in diameter. Design and prototyping is a fundamental part of our service, we are pleased to work from customer issued drawings or alternatively provide advice, specifications and samples tailored to specific applications. In-house test facilities are available providing for both proof-loading and breaking strain tests of up to 10 tonne. Wire rope assemblies that range between 2mm and 6mm diameter currently account for a large part of our production. Much of this work constitutes high volume scheduled original equipment contracts where we maintain an excellent record of satisfying sustained supply and competitive pricing.
